Additional information about this pattern: I have the original copy of Pineapple Crochet Baby Set. There is no copyright date, although I am making an educated guess that is is circa 1940. It is a pattern sheet 21 1/2 inches by 16 inches. I have re-worked the pattern for today's crochet terminology and also for the yarn and hook size. I have re-illustrated the pattern by colorizing the images. My HTML arrangement of this patterns, my added instructions, my research on hook and yarn, and my re-illustration of the images are 2008 Maria Merlino
